Quality Teaching and Learning

An Integrated Delivery of Service

Providing innovative support that enhances quality teaching and learning, while nurturing the capacity for continuous improvement, has been at the heart of CESDP since its inception. CESDP prides itself both on the professional learning support that it offers as well as the ability to creatively approach and tailor efforts to the needs of school communities.

CESDP is prepared to support our national and state initiatives for educational reform by guiding professional learning that increases the effectiveness of teachers and administrators through an ongoing, deliberate and job-embedded approach. CESDP applies an comprehensive, systematic, and comprehensive and systematic plan of integrated service delivery.

Our model helps to identify targeted needs of school personnel, parents and families, and most importantly, students—including their physical and mental wellbeing. Once those needs are addressed, CESDP staff can provide the technical support necessary at multiple levels by converging resources, providing high quality professional development, addressing intergenerational trauma support in the form of screening tools and intervention strategies, creating youth leadership opportunities, and providing high quality needs based training for parents and community members.

This plan of service delivery will address the needs of students, families, teachers and other school personnel by providing a wide range of direct ‘wrap around’ services.

In order to truly provide a comprehensive and integrated delivery of services to schools, our model was developed around four component parts which follow and are addressed in more detail.
